YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR BILLING COORDINATOR
In this position, you get to take care of invoice processing and compliance, making sure everything is spot on and following all the rules.
Your day-to-day includes keeping accounting records up to date, balancing receivables, and helping out with month-end reports and audits.
You're in close contact with funding agencies, managing claims processing and jumping in to fix any problems that pop up.
You work with your team members, offering a helping hand on contracts, financial reporting, Medicaid billing, and special projects.
Your dedication to keeping our finances in tip-top shape drives improvements in our processes and keeps everything in line with the rules!
REQUIREMENTS
- 21 years old
- 2 years of solid experience in medical billing and coding
- A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Knowledge of or experience with billing software systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules
- Ability to dispute billing and receivable discrepancies
Preferred :
- Bachelor's degree
- Medical billing and coding certification
